Trout Season Starts in 3 days!

Okay so first off thank you Fishing Guy...I never took into consideration the "drainage" possibilities of the sawdust. I am definitely keeping an eye on it, the last thing I want is to have to replant all my flowers. I just spent the last three summers tilling, weeding, hauling in and out dirt, and planting. I guess it is a good thing I only put a thin layer down. This way I can till it into my beds at the end of the summer. :)
Alrighty, moving on....Opening Day of Trout Season! Yeah, I have been waiting all winter for this, planning, getting ready, and more waiting. I decided to pass the time a lil and get everything ready for returning to college. Well, I am almost done...actually just for now. I just have to apply for fin aid, and some scholarships...beyond that, I am all registered, and books are ordered. two snaps! :)
Now to Opening Day....I am ready...pole is relined, tackle box organized, nets and waders ready to go, and I have my license. I even have a spot..... ...isn't it nice! I am tackling (lol) this area bright and early Saturday morning. And NO I will not tell anyone where it is, if I am going to catch fish this year I need to keep my spots secret! (the directions anyway)
I am thinking about dragging ~E~ out with me at the crack of dawn to start off the season right...go home for awhile, grab lunch and peanut, only to head back out that afternoon!
I have never caught a fish opening day, let alone a trout worthy of keeping...keep your fingers crossed! :)

Nature Lovin', our calendar has Saturday marked for opening trout season too. :D Jeff is counting the hours. I want to snap some silhouette photos of him while he's casting.

Beautiful photo and post!!!

Just found out I need a doctor procedure done in May. Ugh. Don't like hobbling around.

Have a super day, dear friend!!!

Hugs, JJ

NLSM: I wish you the best with the start of trout season. I do hope that you have that drag sizzling with a super catch. I think I can hear that line cutting through the water right now from a long run. I wat to see the photo.
