Two weeks until Fishing Season

When I was 3 my dad took me fishing with a bunch of his buddies and their lil ones. I remember my snoopy fishing pole, the calmness of the lake, and the warmth of the morning sun. "-DL-", my lil buddy back then, and I had the awesome opportunity to be in the same boat that day! And did we all catch fish!
My Love for fishing began then. However, after that time we never went again. I guess moving back under the bridge had a lot to do with it, but still.
While growing up I had the chance a time or two to pick up a rod, but never long enough to master the cast.
When Mt.Man and I started dating he was eager to teach me to fish. And not just any fishing but fly fishing, stream fishing, trout fishing, being in the middle of a rushing river fishing on a cool summers night. So one day I went to the big chain store, bought my "reel" rod and license. Since I didn't quite know what kind of license I needed, I just told the guy to give me the one that allowed me to fish for everything. (seeing as how I really knew nothing about fishing, well except that a freakin' license was expensive :D !)
So I practiced....and well 6 years later.....I have a mean cast. Now I just need to catch some damn fish. In two weeks I am able to set out and achieve my goal. ~E~ and I have been scooping out spots, and tuning up our poles. We have lures, bait, and enthusiasm. Hopefully we can bring something home. I even have convinced mt.man that if I bring home fish he has to clean them. Yeah! I hate cleaning fishing....I always cut too much meat off! lol :)

NLSM: Fishing is something to be loved and you seem to love it with a passion. I will soon be heading out on my boat really soon. I enjoy fishing and am trying to work through some pysical problems.
I would like to see you share some Sky photos from Michigan with the world.
